  We were en route back from NJ. Luckily, we hadn't dallied as crossing the GWB would've been a feat. The blackout affected us not at all, happily.   ¶ 4:18 PM

  Hey everyone! Had a good birthday capped by a fun dinner (given as a present from Kathy) at a local restaurant! Robbie, Rebecca, Grant, Meg, Kelsey, Kathy and I had a great time!

After taking Meg, Kelsey and Grant to Michigan, Kathy, Robbie, Rebecca and I went camping at Lake George. The blackout did affect us there: no hot showers that evening (although the power was back on within a couple of hours). Any good blackout stories?

I think it's cool that Jack is doing digital photography. What types of things does he like to photograph?

We're getting ready to go down to Jersey. I leave work early today and then pack tomorrow and then we head down on Thursday. To update Bill, the weather in the east is rainy and sticky and muggy. Last week had some lovely, clear and crisp days, but since last Friday, it's been like this. And this is supposed to continue. Ugh.  ¶ 9:10 AM
